High-Performance Double-Glazed Partitions for a Quiet, Modern Workspace

For this London office, JLH Interiors were asked to create private rooms within an open-plan floorplate without losing the light, views, and sense of space. Our solution was a sleek 100mm double-glazed (DG) glass partition system with an impressive acoustic rating of up to 54dB – combining style, transparency, and serious sound control.

The result is a series of bright, contemporary offices and meeting rooms that feel connected to the wider workspace, while still offering the privacy needed for focused work and confidential conversations.

Project Overview

We supplied and installed a 100mm double-glazed glass screen throughout the space, complete with acoustic doors to maintain the high dB rating across the full run of partitions.

Design & Layout

The layout was carefully planned to maximise natural light while clearly defining individual offices and meeting spaces. Full-height glazed runs follow the lines of the herringbone flooring, giving the whole area a clean, linear feel.

Design features include:

• Consistent black Crittall-style banding to tie all rooms together visually

Reeded Manifestation & Privacy

To balance openness with privacy, we incorporated reeded glass manifestation across the mid-section of the screens and doors. This adds a subtle layer of visual screening while still allowing light to flow freely.
